Scott Walker DP / Inventor of Vid-Wave Boxx

Scott Walker has been a Director of Photography for 15 years. Based in London, UK he has spent his entire life shooting everything from war zones to reality shows such as The Amazing Race (4 seasons), Wife Swap, American Candidate, Profiles from the Front Lines for Jerry Bruckheimer in Afghanistan. From the 2000 Olympics in Sydney to BBC documentaries in Kosovo and Albania, Walker is known around the world as a leader in ‘reality' television production.

With a formal education in electrical engineering and computer technology, Walker has combined his experience behind the camera to develop the VID-WAVE BOXX. "It was mostly out of frustration", Walker said in describing his reason for inspiration, “when shooting reality and multiple cameras are rolling, everyone on the production team had a problem viewing everything that was being shot. I came up with a system that sets up in minutes and allows everyone to view what the cameras are seeing. Sending the picture to a laptop so the producers could capture their thoughts while the cameras are rolling only seemed natural. “ Walker developed VID-WAVE BOXX with the production experience of what is needed on location including ease and speed of set up, durability, reliability and complete flexibility when it comes to reality television production. “The microwaves would take too long to set up and then we would start shooting only to discover several links would go down because someone would walk out of range. The thing I like best the system is that it sets up in less than 5 minutes in ANY location! Total freedom with total access for every one on the production team to see any camera feed they want from almost anywhere they want.
